90% as good as the comprable magpul sling; at a fraction of the price.

Title sims it up. I have a magpul MS3 that cost me about $68 and one of these. I like this $9 more. Here is why: low cost, light weight, sturdy, and quick adjustment thumb loop. It also converts from single to double point attachment; whatever tickles your fancy, this sling can do it. Tan? OD? Black? Take your pick. Or buy one of each. The only thing I would add to this is one more triglide to take out some of the excess length.

    great price

For the price the item works great and feels tough and sturdy and the stitch job look good. Ive tried both in 1/2 sling so far the single point was the best. The only thing i see which is not in issure for me is that the paint on the hinge scratches easy

    Totally bomber sling

I am very impressed with this sling. It's made from a good, supple nylon webbing. I bought it thinking "you know, it's what I'm looking for and the price is good... but I'm worried that it'll be cheap junk. Oh well, it's only twelve bucks." Well, you might as well have stolen a magpul sling for the price of this. JE Machine Tech did a really good job with making this a no-frills, totally practical sling. Some slings have a half a dozen buckles, rings, and clips spread across the length of the darn thing. This one keeps all the adjustability and modularity you need while keeping the hardware count on one hand. The quality of this thing is criminally good. And the kicker? Made in the United States of America. Buy this--heck, buy all three--for the cost of one magpul brand sling. It's a simple tool to retain your rifle and it does its job well. I can't underscore how delighted I am with the price and quality of this sling!

    Regarding the construction:
The polymer buckles are pretty dang tough, and the clips are metal where it counts. The thumb loop stays open because there's double webbing stitched together. The adjustment slider is really easy to extend, but a little tougher to bring back in. The clips have got some anodizing that'll come off as other reviewers have mentioned, but the metallic part is so small that you'll hardly see it. If you're worried about the cosmetics of your sling, you're probably the type of guy to buy an $80 sling anyway. I bought the green color, and it's more vibrant than magpul Olive drab green but not by much. I expect it'll drab down once I wear the shininess off the threads.
