The JE Machine AR-15 Stabilizer Buffer System is at the forefront of AR buffer technology. Our system is a drop-in replacement for the traditional AR-15 carbine spring and buffer. This revolutionary patented one-piece assembly eliminates many of the risks of other “cap screwed” recoil systems on the market while providing a reduction in felt recoil. Our PS-BFSC4 is constructed from high-strength 4140 steel. This system is truly a testament to our ingenuity and is a must-have for new and veteran shooters alike.

  • Self-contained & drop-in design for easy installation
  • Reduced felt recoil
  • Precision machined high-strength 4140 steel
  • One-piece design for improved reliability
  • For use with carbine buffer tubes only
  • Weight 10.1oz
  • Patent

IMPORTANT: This will only work on a .223 / 5.56

Installation:

1. Start with separating your lower and upper receiver
2. Remove your standard buffer components. (Buffer and Buffer Spring)
3. Simply slide in the Silent recoil spring into the buffer tube with the Baseplate, the smaller and lighter end first. The heavier weighted side should be at the head of the buffer tube where it would contact your bolt carrier group once the rifle is re-assembled.
4. Lastly, Re-attach your upper receiver to your lower receiver.

Note: The JE AR-15 Stabilizer Buffer System doesn’t require the Buffer Spring Detent and it is optional for the user to remove the Detent for an even easier installation.

       FAQ

Will this reduce recoil?

This part works best in conjunction with other components. It is highly recommended you run a brake with your setup. You’ll also want an adjustable gas block and a lightweight bolt carrier group to get the best performance out of this setup. Once you have all that, you’ll need to fine-tune the rifle by tinkering with the gas block to fine-tune it to the ammo you are using. Only after completing these steps will you get the most out of your new buffer system. It will flatten your shots and drastically reduce felt recoil.

Will this make my AR’s cycling quieter?

You will get rid of that “twang” sound you get from a traditional spring and buffer setup. But it won’t make your action necessarily quiet, and even if it did, you wouldn’t be able to tell as you’re still firing a loud rifle.

Do I need other parts for this to work?

You can run it as is. But it won’t make that much of a difference. To get the best performance out of it, you need to run it with a brake, adjustable gas block, and lightweight bolt carrier group.

Will the Stabilizer Buffer System be compatible with my bolt carrier group?

If you’re running a standard Mil-Spec BCG, AR15 cut or M16 cut, it’ll work. It’ll work best with a lightweight bolt carrier group after some fine-tuning.

Put one in my CMMG 5.7 banshee to see if I could get the godawful twang out of the buffer tube when fired and not only do it solve that issue the recoil impulse was a lot smoother!!
